A quantum leap in the company's history was when Per Aarsleff A/S became listed on the stock exchange in 1984.
Palle Svejstrup (employed in 1965, general manager from 1988-1999) tells us the story:
– When I joined the company, Per Aarsleff was his own guarantor – he risked personal ruin at any moment when we launched large-scale projects, because a contracting company is risky business – so we began by releasing him from being his own guarantor.
The entry on the stock exchange was a great success. Today, this is reflected in the price of the shares; a sign of the investors trust in the company.
