Aarsleff to renovate 150 kilometres of road in Tanzania

Per Aarsleff A/S has entered into a contract with the Tanzania National Roads Agency, TANROADS, to renovate part of the main road towards Zambia. The contract has a value of more than DKK 550 million.

The work comprises mining of raw materials, extension as well as paving and asphalt works on an approx. 150 km stretch between Iyovi and Iringa.

The work begins now and will last 36 months. 25 employees are expected to be stationed abroad in connection with the project.

The contract does not give rise to a change in the outlook for the profit for the financial year ending on 30 September 2008.
