Wicotec Kirkebjerg signs technical contract for New North Zealand Hospital
The Aarsleff Group’s technical contractor Wicotec Kirkebjerg A/S is to carry out the technical installations for the New North Zealand Hospital in Hillerød.
The technical contract has a value of DKK 1.15 billion and has been entered into between Wicotec Kirkebjerg and NCC Danmark who is the main contractor of the hospital building work.

The construction of a hospital places high demands on our work, and the technical installations for New North Zealand Hospital are comprehensive and complex. We are looking forward to getting started and, not least, to continuing the good collaboration with NCC and the Capital Region of Denmark,” says Jesper Kristian Jacobsen, CEO of Aarsleff.
The 123,000-square-metre-large hospital will be shaped like a four-leaf clover and have four stories plus basement. The technical contract comprises installations for medical gases, water, drainage, sanitary systems, cooling, heating, ventilation, sprinkler systems, lighting, electricity, communication as well as emergency generators and 10kV power supply. Wicotec Kirkebjerg will also manage and coordinate the work connected with building management system as well as fire alarm and access control, including management, coordination and commissioning of the installations.
The hospital is scheduled for completion in 2025.
The contract does not affect Aarsleff's earnings expectations for the financial year 2022/23.
