Aarsleff upgrades expectations and publishes preliminary accounting figures for H1

In connection with the ongoing preparation of the interim financial report for H1, Per Aarsleff Holding A/S upgrades the full-year expectations for the financial year 2023/24 as follows:

  • Revenue growth of 1-6% corresponding to revenue of DKK 20.4-21.4 billion against previously DKK 19.5-20.5 billion
  • EBIT in the range of DKK 950-1,050 million against previously DKK 900-1,000 million.

The upgrade is based on the total realised results for H1 as well as the expectations for H2. The preliminary, non-audited accounting figures for H1 are:

  • Revenue of DKK 10,475 million (DKK 9,972 million in H1 22/23)
  • EBIT of DKK 451 million (DKK 409 million in H1 22/23).

Group CEO Jesper Kristian Jacobsen said:

”Our first six months show that the Aarsleff Group has a high level of activity both in and outside of Denmark, and our skilled employees are busy. Especially the building and construction projects in Iceland and Greenland as well as the construction projects in Denmark contribute to these impressive and satisfactory results.” 

Expectations for the individual reporting segments are adjusted to:

Construction
Revenue growth of -5 to 0% against previously -11 to -6%
EBIT of DKK 440-500 million against previously DKK 370-430 million 

Technical Solutions
Revenue growth of 30 to 35% against previously 10 to 15%
EBIT of DKK 120-130 million against previously DKK 95-105 million

Rail
Revenue growth of -10 to -5% which is unchanged
EBIT of DKK 70-80 million which is unchanged

Ground Engineering
Revenue growth of 5 to 10% against previously 10 to 15%
EBIT of DKK 165-175 million against previously DKK 205-215 million

Pipe Technologies
Revenue growth of -3 to 2 % against previously 0 to 5%
EBIT of DKK 155-165 million against previously DKK 160-170 million
