Bridges on the Copenhagen-Ringsted Line
Aarsleff has entered into a contract with Rail Net Denmark for the execution of bridges on the stretch between Ishøj and Greve in connection with the new Copenhagen-Ringsted Line.
The project is carried out in a turnkey contract by the consortium “Aarsleff Bane og Anlæg I/S” consisting of Per Aarsleff A/S and the subsidiary Aarsleff Rail A/S.
During the first year, the work will be focused on design and in January 2014, the construction work will begin and is scheduled for completion in August 2015. The preliminary estimate of the project that was put out to tender is DKK 134 million.
The contract consists of establishment of 12 concrete bridges with spans from 12 to 70 metres, and associated road diversions. The bridges are to lead the new line over and under existing roads and will be carried out according to a concept by which the majority of the bridge decks and a great part of the wing walls and the bridge abutments are carried out as elements.
The contract does not affect Aarsleff's earnings expectations for the financial year 2012/2013.
