Construction of 40 lm of drilled king post wall

For the construction of a new building in the museum The Old Town in Aarhus, Aarsleff has established a retaining wall to allow excavation along the neighbouring buil­ding as well as into an existing slope. Right from the beginning, we focused on establishing the retaining wall very carefully due to the geotech­nical conditions in the area as well as existing sett­lement damage of the neighbouring building. In col­laboration with the client and the consulting engineer, we decided to carry out the wall as a drilled king post wall.
