165 working platforms for Hornsea Two Offshore Wind Farm
Ørsted Wind Power A/S is currently constructing Hornsea Two Offshore Wind Farm, 89 kilometres off the Yorkshire coast of east England. The project comprises 165 wind turbines placed on monopiles with transition pieces and will have a total capacity of 1.4 GW. Per Aarsleff A/S and the sister company Aarsleff BIZ Sp. z o.o. are manufacturing 165 concrete working platforms for offshore wind foundations. The project is performed in two separate subcontracts for Bladt Industries A/S and EEW Special Pipe Construction GmbH (EEW SPC), respectively. Each company is assigned a main contract for the manufacturing of transition pieces for Ørsted Wind Power.
