Stabilisation of railway embankments

For the extension of the railway section between Ringsted and the future Femern Fixed Link, Aarsleff has executed an extensive stabilisation of the railway embankments at the towns Ring and Remkolde. At both locations, the embankments are placed on soft soil, and a future pile slab – comprising 595 driven piles of 35x35 centimetres and of lengths up to 36 metres – will prevent settlement of the tracks at high speeds. In total, we installed 36 kilometres of piles in the two embankments.
