Road construction in Tanzania

In Tanzania, Aarsleff has renovated 150 kilometres of road between Iyovi and Iringa. Later, the contract was expanded by another almost 70 kilometres of road from Iringa to Mafinga. On both stretches, we have carried out a complete reconstruction of the almost 7-metre-wide road, and we have established a climbing lane and bus-bays. In addition, we have carried out extensive improvements of the drainage system. All stone materials for gravel, concrete and asphalt are produced in the joint venture’s own quarry.
