Breakwater in Swinoujscie
Close to Swinoujscie in Poland, Northern Europe's longest breakwater of a length of three kilometres has been completed. The breakwater was constructed in connection with the building of a new LNG terminal. The project comprised placing of two million tons of stone, production and placing of 30,000 concrete armour units and casting of 100,000 cubic metres of concrete in the superstructure and breakwater. In addition to the breakwater, we have constructed a 350-metre-long outer pier.
